History
Our story starts way back, when velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla.
The Kollah Foundation (TKF) is a registered and recognized non-governmental organization operating under the Laws of the Republic of Liberia.
The Foundation became operational in 2004.
Its establishment began when the founders (Mr. Martin S. Kollah & Mrs. Tabadeh P. Kollah), both coming from very humble and poor backgrounds, having gone through difficulties to obtain their education, committed themselves to fight poverty and ignorance by dedicating their resources and time to a tuition-free education, especially for deserving children and youth in impoverished communities.
It led to the formation of its first academic school, called Kollah Foundation Institute (KOFIN), in April 2006, located on GSA Road, and Paynesville City. In their effort to assist more and more people, especially children and youth, the couple expanded their vision into establishing the Kollah Foundation and obtained legal status in October 2011 as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
Today, the Foundation runs two high schools: The KOFIN Rock-Hill Campus and the KOFIN Seminary Community Campus. They also have a technical school called the Kollah Foundation Technical School (K-TEC) that meets Liberians’ job skill needs. Activities that guide the operations of the Foundation in its four strategic areas are Education, Community Development, Youth & Women Empowerment, and Peace Building.
